Yotta's Expansion Plan: Greater Noida and Guwahati Data Centers Slated for 2024 Debut

Yotta Data Services, supported by the Hiranandani Group, is expanding its operations to meet growing demands for data storage and processing. In Greater Noida, they're adding two new buildings to their existing data center, known as 'D1'. At the same time, they're building a new 'edge' data center in Guwahati. This expansion is set to be finished and ready for use by around mid to end-2024.

Right now, their current data center in Greater Noida, D1, is running at 85 percent capacity. So, they're constructing two more buildings, D2 and D3. Eventually, they plan to have six full-scale buildings on the campus. To make sure they have enough power for all these operations, they've built a substation right on-site. It took them about 18 months to set up all the necessary power lines.

Yotta is also working on increasing its presence in smaller markets, like tier-II cities. They're doing this step by step, keeping in line with the demand for data facilities in those areas.

Additionally, the Uttar Pradesh government is giving Yotta some big incentives to help them operate their data centers in the National Capital Region (NCR), which is their first venture in northern India. Darshan Hiranandani, who is part of the Hiranandani Group, is leading these efforts to strengthen Yotta's position in the data center industry.

In simpler terms, Yotta Data Services, with backing from the Hiranandani Group, is expanding its data centers in Greater Noida and Guwahati to meet the increasing need for data storage and processing. They're adding more buildings to their existing center in Greater Noida and building a new one in Guwahati, all set to be operational by around 2024. They're also working on expanding into smaller markets gradually. Plus, they're getting support from the Uttar Pradesh government for their operations in the NCR, with Darshan Hiranandani leading these efforts.
